Description
Coleman Randolph Hawkins (November 21, 1904 – May 19, 1969), nicknamed "Hawk" and sometimes "Bean", was an American jazz tenor saxophonist. One of the first prominent jazz musicians on his instrument. This painting embodies the idea of being the first to make a change. It's easy to imitate, but it's much harder to go against the grain and do things different than everyone else. If we are going to make this world a better place then we must play our instruments like nothing you've ever heard before!
