As a kid I spent lots of time at the beaches in San Pedro. My godfather was a life guard stationed at Cabrillo Marina. He has devoted his life to the ocean and he taught me so much. He’s number one rule was that you must always leave the beach cleaner than you which you found it. That really left an impact on my outlook on life and how I could recycle and leave the planet cleaner than I found it. Today I use lots of recycled materials in my art in hopes to inspire others to reuse the materials around to insure a smaller carbon footprint on our beautiful earth
