In this unique series, C.Bennett begins his process by painting road maps of treasured locations and cities that forever hold a spot in the heart of the American Culture.

Over heavy textures and recycled maps, these beautiful portraits represent mother nature and all her glory. “I think at times it’s easy to forget our connection to Mother Earth. Our bodies yearn for the rhythmic connection. Everyday is different than the one before, and it is important to engage and experience every moment on this planet.

I hope that through Art I can open conversations about global issues such as climate change, waste management, and other pressing issues that face our home here on the Blue Planet. Proceeds from this series helps generate funds and awareness for the Surfrider Foundation. Together we can help protect our coasts by fighting for plastic pollution, ocean protection and coastal preservation. These are just a few of the missions that the Surfrider Foundation has set there sights on.
