SEATTLE HERO was created during a time the city was divided. Looters had begun smashing windows and riots were breaking out all over America after the public could stand no more police brutality towards African Americans. As I painted in my studio I prayed for the peaceful protesters in the streets and for the countless families affected by discrimination and injustices. I prayed for people of privilege would stand up and use their voices to speak out on behave of the smaller voices of the world! I hope that this painting will serve to bring positive light to the world and help motivate change. I am you and you are me and we are all together.
